  1. Love these.

Starts with a mysterious STOP that leads to the Queen. Fab.

  2. The infinite bleakness of institutional anomie and existential-psychogeographic confinement cries out for its Beckett... and finds him.

The bleak humour however perhaps less evident to an inmate -- and ay, is that not the way with so much of "our world today"?

    Subjectively desolating.

  3. (However, it must be revealed, through the atmospheric gloom, that still small voice from the shadows... "Well, those are still better faucets than WE have!")

  5. This place provides day care for adults with learning disabilities and employment for yours truly. We've been waiting on a makeover for a long time. It does say something about the value placed on these people in the community at large.

Accidental Arp does catch something in the third one.

There are traces of a way of working that wasn't right here. I hope that traces are all they are now.

  6. Joy does happen here but happens despite the scenery. Should they ever get round to redecorating, let's hope they've run out of Dulux Autumn Anomie (gloss).

  7. I do hate to be stuck on this note, but anomie or no, that's a better wall outlet than we've got (no duct tape at least).

My own unemployment and multiple disabilities (learning, forgetting among them) cry out for such amenities. Could do with a patient, poetically-inclined keeper as well.

    (What's that we were saying?)

  8. I just keep scrolling through this series. Mysterious & compelling.

  9. Thank you, Nora.

Although I know the place well, looking through the camera made it strange again.
