Rain on Holders' Lane

Old dog shivers
at the barrier (dayglo taped)

Glass clouds hang
back of windowless
scrim back cloth

Fecal tang
and the still thumb drops

and the leaf rot humps
fence some first words' murk

from the boy in a grown up shirt
his nape
as white
as ache

He says, "Again".

You had me back there when

His dented shield face
angles out drunkways
Pollen smears on eyes
and other cracks

                 "What a friend we have

and the broken brick front
vertices picked stitches

Beak cadmium jabs at factish grass
    black plumes near gloss black

"Go on till we all fall in the hole don't laugh"

"This is the walk heh this is y'body hah"

Four Dwellings

Park's slope pale
with dandelion seed

A flecked grey blanket shapes

Such a bleach wet sun
seeps vex light

Harrow out all from shade

A busted shrunk bike puce
and disarranged

A good wait till
the apple blooms
as blown skunk clouds

Underneath the finger tubers creak

Clent thickening
